What are your expectations from Project Qatar this year?
As the UAE-based leading manufacturer of high-quality cables and cabling products, we consider the event a great opportunity to exhibit our world-class products. We are actively seeking to support the upcoming projects in the country. We look forward to partnering with globally-renowned consultants and contractors in the development of world-class infrastructure being built in the country.
What will your offerings be at the event?
We will be showcasing our wide variety of products and services for the defense, energy, industrial, construction, rail, specialty and nuclear energy sectors. Our product range includes high voltage cables up to 400 kV, medium voltage cables up to 33 kV, low voltage power cables, control and auxiliary, wiring and lead-sheathed cables, low smoke zero halogen cables, and fire resistance cables, copper rods and wires, cable components and cable accessories. We will highlight our specialised products such as PetroBICC for the oil, gas and petrochemicals sector; RuBICC flexible rubber cables; FlamBICC, our fire-retardant cable series; and NuBICC, our 60-year certified cable range for nuclear power plants.
Brief us on the new launches planned.
The Ducab Aluminium Company (DAC) plant in Kizad in Abu Dhabi, presently under construction, is on track to open in the second-half of this year. When complete, it will manufacture Electrical Conductive (EC) grade aluminium alloy rods, wires, and bare overhead conductors for the transmission sector.
