What are your expectations from Project Qatar this year?
This is our third time at the event. And, based on our previous years´ experiences, we find that the Project Qatar benefits our company in several ways, especially while we are targeting at exploring and expanding our market in Qatar. Over the past two years at the event, we have had the chance to meet contractors, buyers, architects, and even consultants. We have been able to interact with them at the exhibition and discuss our products and materials. That said, considering the activities in Qatar, there is a need for the kind of architectural materials we provide. And, from the first time that we participated in Project Qatar until today, we have successfully exported many of our products to the Qatar market.
What will your offerings be at the event?
For the past two years, our main focus has been on the aluminium products. But this year, we are highlighting our other metal products such as zinc as well. We would also like to highlight our ability to produce as per customer´s specifications and requirements of our products. And, this year, we would like to bring-in something special for the market, in terms of bigger products, wider, larger and different products.
Any special plans to attract visitors to your booth?
Basically, we are trying to introduce something special on the exhibition stand. In order to do that, and attract visitors at the exhibition, we will bring-in some samples of our products such as special designs as compared to traditional materials.
What are your strategies to generate sales from the event?
We will first try to search for the right business partner in Qatar. We hope to meet and approach many architects and consultants at the exhibition, who can partner with us, so as to represent our company in Qatar. We are also looking at meeting architects who are interested in the kind of materials we produce.
Who will be your target buyers at the event?
Facade specialists and roofing contractors will mainly be our target buyers. Besides, we are also targeting main contractors, building contractors and facade consultants.
What compelled you to participate at the event?
For us, the Qatar market is big and potential, and we notice that the demand for the kind of products we manufacture, is really huge in Qatar as compared to other countries. Qatar is upgrading its infrastructure and looking at expanding in the industry that we belong to. So, we believe that our success rate in Qatar is high.
How do you view the current building and construction market in Qatar?
The construction market in Qatar is growing, especially with the many infrastructure projects coming up. The various Qatar metro projects and lines under construction will give a push to the sector as well. In future, we look forward to being active participants in the growth of the building and construction market in Qatar.
