ATG constitutes three world-renowned brands - Alliance, Galaxy and Primex. The brands are well-known for their ability to provide customers - both aftermarket customers and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) - with application-specific, purpose-built tires. Household names in the OHT segment across the world, these brands were brought together under the ATG banner in a phased manner from 2007.
ATG´s Galaxy brand is the world leader for skid steer tires and also the preferred partner for OEM´s. Offering superior performance, long life and exceptional value, its tires stand strong on its credo ´application specific and purpose built´. Also, the company´s Contract utility tires are a popular choice among leading OEMs and aftermarket customers. Moreover, ATG was the first to introduce dual radial excavator tires and offers an extensive range of intense performing earthmovers. In the case of port applications, the company can truly claim of having a tire for every application. Lastly, ATG also boasts of an unmatched range of tires in its agriculture range of radial and bias contract utility tires that provide unmatched performance.
The company owns two manufacturing plants in India û the plant in south India is located at Tirunelveli in Tamil Nadu, and the plant in west India is located at Dahej in Gujarat. Apart from its own plants, ATG´s tires are also manufactured at dedicated contract manufacturing facilities in China and Taiwan. These products are manufactured adhering to strict quality standards, and this is applied to and considered for all ATG products.
The world-class research and development (R&D) centers, strategically located in the US, India and South Africa, enables the company to cater to customers even at regional levels. This strengthens its motto of providing customised-solutions for specific needs. And, this has further enabled the brand in being positioned among the leaders and a preferred OEM choice across the globe.
What´s more, ATG has its regional headquarters in The Netherlands, the US, India and South Africa with regional offices or representatives in Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, Iberia, Italy, Poland, Russia, Scandinavia, Turkey, Ukrain and UK.
Meet the founders
The group company was founded and promoted by the Mahansaria family, who are among the leading names in the OHT industry with the backing of a leading American private equity firm - Warburg Pincus LLC. At present, ATG is backed by Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co (KKR), a leading New York-based multinational private equity firm.
The OHT segment has been ATG´s focus and specialisation for the last six decades. This focused business approach is reflected through a vast product range having more than 226 patterns and 2,600 SKUs to cater to customers´ needs across all segments.
That said, ATG continues to grow with a focused vision - to be among the top three global leaders in agriculture, forestry and the construction tyre segment (AFC). The company´s consistent focus on product innovation in line with the customer expectations has helped in winning new customers and increasing its base of OEM´s and loyal customers.
