HH Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman has plans to construct a new airport along with two ports in Ajman, UAE. Under his leadership, UAEs smallest emirate, Ajman is allocating 40 per cent of its 2014 budget to increase work on new development, economic and social projects. The prince has stated that this plan is part of Ajmans 2021 strategy, which expects a greater influx of tourists in the emirate. The encouraging move is in sync with President HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyans plan to follow a directive and enable projects that will increase the number of airports and ports, and enhance the countrys development. Work on the Ajman International Airport is now being intensified and construction of the two new ports is in progress under HH Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi. The Ajman International Airport is expected to handle nearly one million passengers every year.
